Do you believe great leaders are born, not made? Alexander Havard, author of the best-selling business book, Virtual Leadership, and founder of the Havard Virtuous Leadership Institute, begs to differ. He believes that leaders can be trained to greatness. Havard has studied leadership for years and shares the results of these studies that support the idea that leadership is less about rising to the top of one’s profession than it is about one’s character.

Havard will be speaking at the 2013 Remodelers Advantage 2013 Business Summit, September 30-October 1, at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. www.Summit.RemodelersAdvantage.com

Havard says, “Leadership is not about rank or position or being on top of the heap. Leadership is a way of being that can be lived by everyone, no matter his or her place in society or any given organization. The leader does not lead by means of potestas, or the power inherent in his office or functions. He leads by means of auctoritas, which proceeds from character. If you have character, you lead. If you don’t have character, you don’t lead, but rather manipulate.”

Havard is based in Moscow and shares his message with audiences around the world. “We are delighted to have an expert of this caliber at our 2013 Summit,” says Remodelers Advantage president, Victoria Downing. “The business owners who are members of our Remodelers Advantage community feel that strong leadership is a key to their company’s ongoing success. This is the type of high-level, strategic information that they look for.”

Havard will be joined by a variety of other nationally-known topic experts leading high-impact discussions on company culture, sales management, productivity, and more. Professional remodelers who are motivated to build strong companies with longevity and value are invited to attend the Remodelers Advantage 2013 Business Summit.

Remodelers Advantage works with professional remodelers across the United States and Canada to help these business owners improve business management skills, strategic thinking skills, and develop a healthy, profitable business. www.RemodelersAdvantage.com
