Dale Nikula

My first experience in construction was spending some of my college breaks framing houses for my brother-in-law’s framing company. 

After college, I started a construction company that lasted about three years before filing for bankruptcy. I then worked as a carpenter for a local builder who decided to retire during my third year with him and asked me to take over his up coming projects. 

That was the start of what became Encore Construction, which over the next twenty-five years grew into a Design/Build company with a kitchen & bath department and two locations doing approximately $7 million annually. 

In 2021, I sold the company to my long-time General Manager.
