Roundtables Participation Terms

Program Structure

Roundtables is a peer advisory program designed to help remodeling business owners make better decisions through structured discussion with other experienced operators.

The value of the program comes from active participation. Meetings, discussions, and program components are designed to be collaborative and rely on the engagement of each member.

Roundtables may include various components such as group meetings, case studies, peer reviews, workshops, and other structured activities. These are part of the overall program experience and are not separate contracted engagements.

Designated Member

Each participating company designates one primary participant (“Primary Member”) in the Roundtables program.

The Primary Member is the main point of contact and is responsible for participation, billing, and overall coordination within the program.

Companies may include additional participants through a Partner Pass or similar arrangement. These participants may attend meetings and engage in discussions as part of the program.

Program communication, participation, and deliverables are primarily aligned with the Primary Member, while additional participants are included in the program experience as appropriate.

If a company wishes to change its Primary Member, that change must be coordinated with Remodelers Advantage in advance so the transition can be handled properly.

Nature of Advisory

Roundtables operates as a peer advisory model.

Insights, recommendations, and guidance are developed through group discussion among participating members. Remodelers Advantage facilitates this process but does not provide individualized consulting advice outside of this structure unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

The value of the program is tied directly to participation in these discussions.

Participation Expectations

Members are expected to actively participate in meetings, contribute to discussions, and follow through on commitments made within the group.

The strength of Roundtables depends on the quality of engagement from its members. Lack of participation limits the value of the program for both the individual and the group.

Confidentiality

Roundtables is built on the open sharing of sensitive business information.

All information shared within meetings, materials, and discussions is considered confidential and is intended solely for the benefit of participating members.

Members agree not to share, distribute, or disclose confidential information from the group outside of the Roundtables environment.

Use of AI Tools and Data Handling

Roundtables is built on trust. That includes how information is handled outside the meeting.

We are not looking to restrict the use of AI tools. They are valuable and should be used. But they require common sense guardrails.

The simple rule:

If you would not hand the information to a competitor, do not put it into an AI tool.

The following should not be entered into consumer or free AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms):

  • Roundtables meeting books or materials
  • Financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)
  • Employee or client data
  • Legal documents or disputes
  • Anything shared by another Roundtables member in confidence

There is a meaningful difference between consumer AI tools and enterprise platforms with stronger data handling controls. Members are responsible for understanding how the tools they use handle data.

Information shared within Roundtables is confidential peer-to-peer business data and should not be uploaded into AI tools in raw form.

Authority

By enrolling in and participating in Roundtables, the Member represents that they have the authority to act on behalf of their company in the program and to engage in discussions involving company operations, performance, and strategy.

Relationship to Terms of Service

Participation in the Roundtables program is subject to Remodelers Advantage’s Terms of Service, including payment terms, cancellation policies, and other governing provisions.

In the event of any conflict between these Participation Terms and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.
