Professional background
I have been working in the industry since I was 12. I worked at my father’s company (located in Pennsylvania) first as a laborer, then carpenter and lead carpenter.
In 1994 I joined the company full-time and headed the sales and design side of the company. During this time, I acquired my CGR and CAPS designations. I spoke and taught nationally during these years.
I assumed the role of president and CEO in 2008. Shortly after this, I started facilitating for Remodelers Advantage after being a member for many years before that.
In 2019 I decided it was time to close the company and move on to something that was not full-scale design/build. I left the Pennsylvania area and went to the DC Metro area to work as a designer/salesperson for a company that does exterior renovations exclusively.
Personal Life
I am married and have three girls. You can be sure if they are involved in something, I’ll be there cheering them on.
When I’m not working, my favorite thing is to travel to new places (and some favorites). Whether it is a couples vacation for my husband and me or a family vacation, travel is my passion.
If there is a beach nearby, you can be sure that it will probably end up on my places to visit (recommendations are always welcome!!).
